Recipient of two Second Prizes (first author) and two Third Prizes of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Concluded Kawasaki disease cooperation agreements among five Eurasian countries. In 2017, as deputy head of the Shaanxi provincial medical delegation, led a visit to Europe along the Belt and Road and signed cooperation agreements with medical authorities in Italy, Uzbekistan, Greece, and other countries; in the same year, successfully held China–Georgia and China–Mongolia pediatric conferences in the respective capitals. In 2018, successfully convened a nine-country Kawasaki Disease conference (including China, Japan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mongolia) and a China–Russia–Mongolia–Pakistan–Nepal–Thailand international medical conference. Has been invited to visit the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Spain, and other countries more than 30 times. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex pediatric disorders and infections. Initiated the Eurasian Pediatric Summit (Xi’an, 2019). Completed intergovernmental cooperation projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology—the China–Italy Diarrheal Disease Research Project (MOST File No. 97K12-G22) and the China–Hungary Ministry of Health Pediatric Neuro-disease Research Project (MOST File No. 2004-475). Main research areas: prevention and treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, modern hospital management, and development of practical, technology-oriented products. Has particular expertise in the integrated Traditional Chinese and Western-medicine management of common cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, as well as chronic headache, night sweats, and rheumatoid arthritis. Skilled in diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular disorders and refractory hypertension; in organizing major rescue for common cardio-cerebrovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and in building hospital soft power and informatics—led the formulation of the former Wuhan General Hospital’s “12th Five-Year” development plan. Proficient at leveraging military–civilian resources to develop practical dual-use products, having developed multiple new drugs and dressings. Has secured over RMB 10 million in funding from national and military research foundations; published 118 academic papers as first or corresponding author; undertaken six major national/PLA innovation projects; obtained 12 invention and utility-model patents; and received nine first- and second-class awards for scientific and technological progress at national, military, and provincial/ministerial levels. Developed four dual-use new drugs/materials, including gastrodin sustained-release tablets for chronic headache; controlled-release tablets of phenylcyclononyl ester for long-acting anti–motion sickness (car/sea); and a new kaolin bamboo-fiber hemostatic bandage/dressing for hemorrhage control in wartime/peacetime trauma and traffic injuries.

He concurrently serves as Vice Chairman World Artificial Consciousness Association, Co-Chair of the Proactive medicine committee, the World Artificial Consciousness Association, and Vice President of the International Society for Translational Medicine and president of the Infectious Disease Radiology Branch. He has edited 47 monographs and textbooks, including 16 original English works (published globally by Springer.Nature & Elsevier, ranking among the top 1% of authors) and 31 Chinese versions, and holds 33 patents and software copyrights. He has formulated 26 international and domestic guidelines, consensus statements, and standards, with research results downloaded and applied over 260,000 times. Scientific Contributions: He has long been committed to improving the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of radiology for major infectious diseases in China, achieving several leading and significant scientific breakthroughs. He was the first to propose the academic theory of radiology for major infectious diseases, overcoming key technical difficulties in the mechanisms, laws, diagnosis, and treatment of radiology for major infectious diseases, solving a series of problems in precise diagnosis and treatment of radiology for major infectious diseases, and constructing a systematic theoretical system and an international discipline construction system for radiology of major infectious diseases. Furthermore, he has developed an integrated diagnosis, treatment, and management system combining artificial intelligence and information technology for major infectious diseases, making significant contributions to the construction of the disciplinary system for early warning and precise diagnosis and treatment of major infectious diseases in China. He has been praised by authoritative media as "the pioneer of radiology for major infectious diseases and the founder of the internationalized discipline" (as reported by China Science Daily, China Talents, International Talent Magazine of the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc.).
